UK Jobs Faces One Almighty Threats from ROBOTS Not Immigration – Report.

There’s a looming threat of job losses in the UK. This threat is occasioned the rise in the implementation of advanced technology, automation, and robotics, which are components of artificial intelligence and expert systems.

A recent report from Deloitte stated this fact in a review of the Job situations in the UK. It claims that 35% of existing UK jobs are at “high risk of replacement in the next 20 years” from advanced technology, automation, and robotics, which are components of artificial intelligence and expert systems. It suggests that lower-paid jobs more than five times more likely to be replaced than higher-paid jobs.

“Unless these changes coming in the next two decades are fully understood and anticipated by businesses, policy makers and educators, there will be a risk of avoidable unemployment and under-employment,” warns Deloitte’s senior partner Angus Knowles-Cutler.

In London, the report states that 73% of businesses are planning to increase their overall headcount, to bring in the new technology skills and roles required by technology advances.

Deloitte is the Oxford Martin School and the University of Oxford in the UK.

This looming British Job threats are coming on the heels of the coming UK’s next general election, which might be dominated by issues of immigration, BREXIT and the rest.

This means that there’s an urgent need to train job seekers and encourage them to adjust to the changing times with respect to technology, automation, and robotics, otherwise, things might go awry. Best strategy is to become start your own business.
